In this list I will be covering 6 great TV series that are adapted from comic books.

I may leave out some other very popular shows that you may think should be in this list. These are all of my favorite shows at the moment so I can write about them the best.

Apologies if you are reading this in the future to this list is outdated.

Remember to use the sharing buttons at the bottom of this post if you liked!

1. The Walking Dead

Starting off the list strong with the awesome zombie show based on the hit comic series by Robert Kirkman.  Arguably, The Walking Dead is the most popular show on this list after gathering an enormous fan base, the show is currently in a break before the release of season 7.

In 2015, AMC released a spin-off of The Walking Dead due to the sheer popularity of the shoe. The spin-off is called Fear The Walking Dead, it’s story is not directly based from a comic series.

“The Walking Dead is an American horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.” – Google

 2. Dark Matter

This series aired June last year and, although it doesn’t have the greatest ratings, it is still a very good show. If you have read the comic series of the same name there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t watch this series, it’s very good.

“Dark Matter is a Canadian science fiction series created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, based on their comic book of the same name and developed by Prodigy Pictures in association with Space channel.” – Google

3. Preacher

Preacher in my opinion, is a series with so much potential. It is based off the comics of the same name. Like Outcast, it is of the horror genre. If you want to read what the story is about, I have quoted the overview of the story from Google below.

“Fulfilling a promise to his deceased father, one-time outlaw Jesse Custer returns home to West Texas to take over his dad’s church. Jesse’s mission, however, becomes twisted when his body is overcome by a cryptic force that unleashes within him a highly unconventional power.” – Google

4. Outcast

Like The Walking Dead, Outcast is a comic written by Robert Kirkman. It has been adapted into a TV show in this year (2016) and is still currently in it’s first season. Much like Preacher, I decided to include this into the list as, from the first episode it has immediately caught my attention as a series for the future.

“Created and co-executive produced by Robert Kirkman (“The Walking Dead”), the drama series “Outcast” stars Patrick Fugit (“Gone Girl”) as Kyle Barnes, a man who has been possessed by demons since he was young.” – Google

5. Arrow

This is based off the DC comic character named Green Arrow. An exciting costumed crime-fighter. The comics were first adapted for television in 2012 and there have been over 100 episodes of the successful american series since. The TV series is developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg.

6. Daredevil

Released by Netflix, the original series Daredevil is based on the marvel comics. Daredevil follows the story of Matt Murdock, an attorney  by day and vigilante by night. Daredevil was blinded as a child in an accident and uses his heightened senses to fight his enemies.

If you have any left-over kindness in your heart i’m sure this charity would love a small donation from you. I am not part of this charity or anything, I just want to be nice and for people to be aware of this condition.

Please comment below if you have donated and, I know it’s not much, but i’ll follow your blog (If you have one). Please be honest and don’t lie.
