Lucasfilm Confirm Release Dates For ‘Star Wars Episode IX’ And ‘Indiana Jones 5’

Recently Lucasfilm announced the release dated for two of its highly anticipated upcoming movies, Star Wars Episode IX and Indiana Jones 5.

The release date for Star Wars Episode IX, the final movie in the trilogy since Disney took over the franchise with be released on May 24th 2019. The movie is yet to be given a title, and most likely won’t have one anytime soon, Lucasfilm described the movie as  “clos[ing] out the third Star Wars trilogy.” We will also be getting the second movie from the new ‘Star Wars’ trilogy, The Last Jedi, this December and a young Han Solo spin-off movie in a years time (May 2017) which will feature star ‘Game Of Thrones’ actress Emilia Clarke as part of its cast.


Lucasfilm also confirmed a release date for new ‘Indiana Jones’ Movie


The other release date Lucasfilm announced out of the blue was another big one, the next Indiana Jones movie. The fifth film in the Harrison Ford series directed by Steven Spielburg will hit cinemas on July 10, 2020, so mark your diaries.
