Dawson’s Creek Revival NOT Happening Despite Rumors, Says Star James Van Der Beek

We’ve received almost certain news that a reunion of hit Warner Bros series Dawson’s Creek will not be making a shock return, despite people saying it will happen.

It’s been a question that’s been circling the web for a while now and we’ve finally had a legitimate response, and it’s not a good one for fans. A reunion series will NOT be happening contrary to the many reports over the past year. We know this as star James Van Der Beek recently told TVLine that there have not been any talks of a reunion in ‘Like 15 years‘, so it’s safe to say its not happening. The series finale of Dawson’s Creek aired in 2003.

When asked about a reunion, he said:

“No [ there haven’t been any Dawson‘s reunion talks], that answer hasn’t changed in like 15 years.”

In the interview James spoke about his project ‘What Would Diplo Do?’,  where he plays real-life electronic dance music DJ & producer Diplo. After talking about this, the reporter asked about the slightest chance of a Dawson’s Creek reunion, to which he seemed confident in his answer, laughing and answering with the straight forward ‘No’. Would you have wanted a reunion series, or do you think it is right to stay where it is?
