A Tweet from the official Netflix account has now confirmed what people have been speculating for a while, Glow WILL return to the ring for a season 2.
The Netflix show was released as a potential replacement for ‘Orange Is The New Black’, which many are reporting is coming to an end imminently. The first season of GLOW really came in to its own quickly gathering a big fanbase and it proved to be one of the latest big players in Netflix originals along with: Stranger Things, Ozark & OITNB.
Not seen GLOW? Read the synopsis: “Alison Brie stars as Ruth Wilder, an out-of-work actress living in Los Angeles in the ’80s. Wilder finds an unexpected chance at stardom: enter the glitter and spandex-laden world of women’s wrestling, where she must work alongside 12 other Hollywood misfits. Marc Maron plays the role of Sam Sylvia, a washed-up director of “B” movies who tries to lead the group of women to fame.”
GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) will return to Netflix for a second with 10 new episodes in 2018. It’s too early to have a confirmed release date, but you should expect it to release sometime in the summer next year.

Last month, actress Alison Brie teased that the show would have a big future, saying that the show is full of rich characters, and that there is a lot of opportunities for many renewals in the future. Read what she said below:
“You see how rich this show is, just full of different characters, and you can mine those characters for years. The real GLOW was a slight revolving door in terms of some women being on the show for years and years, and other new characters coming in. There’s a lot of possibilities for longevity.”
