‘Killjoys’ Renewed For Final Seasons 4 & 5 By Syfy

Syfy recently made it official in a press release that they have renewed their hit show ‘Killjoys’ for 4 fourth season and also a 5th, which will be the final season.

This comes as fantastic news for fans, but there is one downer – Syfy has in turn cancelled its other big drama ‘Dark Matter’.  This news has come just days after the fantastic season 3 finale.

Killjoys Season 4 premieres summer 2018 on Syfy, with the fifth and final season airing summer 2019. The penultimate and final seasons will both consist of 10 episodes each, a few of which could potentially be extended episodes.

Unlike some other renewals/cancellations that we post on this site, we can confirm that this renewal is official and not just reports because the network has made an official statement and given us a press release.

Syfy executive vice president, Bill McGoldrick expressed his excitement for the upcoming seasons, read what he said below:

“Helmed by Lovretta and driven by the superb storytelling, we are excited to bring KILLJOYS back for two final seasons.”

About Killjoys: A trio of bounty hunters, known as Killjoys, chases deadly warrants through the Quad, a distant area that is near the start of a violent class war among multiple planets. Gorgeous but deadly Dutch is a top-level Killjoy who has a unique gift for earning people’s trust, regardless of their class. The much-loved Killjoy harbors a dark secret. Kindhearted John is a peacemaker who prefers not to fight. Handsome, loyal former soldier D’avin is experienced in hand-to-hand combat, which makes him a valuable asset to the team.
