This is the same show that allowed two people beaten to death by a barb wire-covered baseball bat graphically on-screen. Yes, that’s AMC, who have not after 7 previous seasons let The Walking Dead drop the f-bomb, but now they can! – sparingly.
AMC have definitely waited too long in making this decision. TWD is allowed to say the word twice per season, which is already double what AMC’s other huge show Breaking Bad was allowed. This rule comes in for both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead. These standards are in line with what the MPAA allows in a PG-13 movie: one or two F-bombs as long as the usage isn’t explicitly sexual. Out of all of the characters who could drop this word, surely Negan is the most likely, he says it in almost every line in the comics. In fact, aside from the version we watched, The Walking Dead also recorded an alternative uncensored clip from the scene where Negan kills both Abraham and Glenn and he drops the f-bomb in most lines. You can watch it on YouTube here.
FTWD showrunner Dave Erickson recently spoke out on the subject of f-bombs. Read what he said below with ComicBook.com.:
“You get a specific number of curse words you can say, and then there’s a list of what you can and can’t do. I think it was our script coordinator who told me there was an email [that] had come up; there had been a memo saying we could now say “f—” twice over the course of an entire season.”

In other TWD news, Andrew Lincoln recently teased that the new season will bring is some big deaths and has warned viewers to be prepared and brace themselves before going into the new season. It is an all-out-war I suppose, what can you expect?
