The huge Netflix political drama won’t continue past season 6 with House Of Cards, which began filming earlier this month.
There’s been no confirmation that this news is official as of yet, but you can be sure that the show is over. This news comes just a day after Spacey was accused of sexually assaulting actor Anthony Rapp in 1986, when Rapp was 14 years old. Following the accusation, Spacey posted an apology on his Twitter, were he came out as gay, and said that he did “not remember the encounter,” but that if it happened it “would have been deeply inappropriate, drunken behavior.” Read the Tweet below:

According to BusinessInsider, the cancellation of Netflix’s highly-regarded award-winning drama has no connection with this news regarding Spacey.
The Netflix drama is currently under production and is set to release in summer of 2018 with 13 episodes, which we now know will be the final lot.
