The drama set in the X-Men universe has apparently been granted a second season by FOX, set to air in 2018.
We informed you a few weeks back that plans were in place for a season 2, but now FOX believe a season 2 will be a success and have merited it one, according to sources and reports.
Showrunner Mat Nix has confirmed that even before the series first aired, FOX understood that he had a couple of seasons mapped out. He also said that he knows the direction he wants to take season 2 in: In super broad strokes, we have an idea of where the show could go, as a show.”
It comes at no doubt that FOX would want to merit a season 2, with it receiving 8/10 on IMDb and 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. It also got fantastic viewing figures.
