Game Of Thrones star Ben Crompton has teased a big ending to the show, saying it will go out ‘with a bang’.
Crompton plays the Night’s Watch brother Eddison Tollett in the show, a character who the actor himself is surprised is still alive going into the final season. The star said that he is ‘grateful’ and ‘so is my mortgage.’
Season 8 is still well into filming, which the actor says will continue well into the new year, despite the season being the shortest yet, with only six episodes. Ben Crompton vows that it will be worth the wait, though! Read what he said below:

‘Even though there’s only six episodes, there’s a lot to shoot because it’s the last one. We’re going out with a bang.’
Season 7 was undoubtedly amazing, but it didn’t come without its criticisms, one being the show taking some dramatic license with the timelines. Crompton believes that the final season will satisfy the majority on fans, but understands that nothing comes without criticisms. Read what he said below:
‘I would hope they would be. Whatever we do there’ll be fans who love it and fans that won’t be satisfied.
I’d be surprised if people are disappointed because there’s a lot of effort and love gone into this, and I think it’s very satisfying. So hopefully everyone will agree.’
