Star Wars Needs ‘A Female Darth Vader’, Says A Hollywood Showrunner

According to Hollywood writer and producer Lindsey Beer, a female Darth Vader is needed in the Star Wars franchise.

Lindsey Beer is currently hard at work with the movie adaptations of the Patrick Rothfuss best-selling fantasy books The Kingkiller Chronicle. She is working alongside Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. She is going to have some huge releases over the next few years including: Dungeons and Dragons, Godzilla vs Kong, Chaos Walking & barbie. You can see all of her upcoming honors on her IMDb page here. Please remember that Lindsey Beer in in no way connected to the Star Wars franchise so this won’t happen unless Disney decide to do it.

She recently told the media that she believes the franchise needs a female Darth Vader:

In the past movies, Vader was portrayed by David Prowse in the original trilogy and former Welsh former kick boxer Spencer Wilding in the Rogue One spin-off.
A Darth Vader gender-swap could mean the replacement of the iconic voice of James Earl Jones, who has done it for 40 years.

The new Star Wars movie ‘The Last Jedi’  has gained praise from fans across the globe and top critics everywhere. Many have said that it’s the greatest Star Wars yet.
