Netflix add highly-regarded actress Janet McTeer to star alongside Jason Bateman and Laura Linney an Ozark season 2.
Ozark gained fantastic reviews following its debut season, putting it right up with the finest Netflix dramas going. Academy Award® nominee Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs, The Honourable Woman) will play a season regular role in the new season.
We’ve got some new and intersting details about her character, she will play a Chicago based attorney with links to the cartel. In making a deal with the devil, she becomes a potential threat to the Byrdes.
You might notice McTeer from her recent role as Camilla Traynor in Emilia Clarke’s 2016 movie Me Before You. She also played a role in The Woman in Black back in 2012 starring Daniel Radcliffe. This is a busy year for her, as she will also star in Marvel’s Jessica Jones, though we have no new details about her character.
She’ll be joining one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year. Season one saw Bateman earning a Golden Globe nomination and both he and Linney recieving SAG Awards mentions.
