Our best hope of seeing Qui-Gon Jinn return lies in the spin-off movies Disney will be releasing each year between the continuation of the main movies. We’ve already seen the success of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and in May we will see the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story. There have been rumors circulating the web that Yoda could be getting a dedicated movie as well as Boba Fett.

Neeson could make a welcome return as Qui-Gon in a Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off movie, and it is an idea that the actor is more than happy to bring into fruition.

The Taken star seems open to the potential opportunity of returning to the franchise, though the actor admits he hasn’t been in contact with any of the producers so a return of probably off the cards. Read what he told Yahoo Movies UK  below:

“This is the first time I’m hearing of this. No one’s been in touch with me. I know in the Star Wars world anything is possible.”

Liam Neeson ended his interview by teasing fans that within the Star Wars universe, anything is possible as well all know. Read what he said for yourself:

“In the first one, The Phantom Menace, I died but we know, you know, Jedi come back and stuff but no one’s been in touch. We’ll see.”

Liam Neeson isn’t the only actor who would be willing to make a return to a reboot. With Amazon creating a mega-budged reboot of ‘Lord of the Rings’ former Gandalf actor Ian McKellen told the media that he would be willing to return to his iconic role as Gandalf.
