Williams began her career in the deep end, landing her role as Arya, one of the central characters in the show. As a 12-year old filming Thrones she was able to act alongside some of the biggest names in the business, including Sean Bean & Charles Dance.

The 20-year old actress spoke about the work-school balance, saying: “On the one hand you’re a grown-up and you work on set and you work adult hours and you have an adult salary and it’s a lot of responsibility, then you go back to school and you have to put your hand up and ask to go to the toilet,”

Maisie also mentioned that the experience she got from being out in a real-life situation, where she was placed in an ultra high-pressure environment, that being the Game of Thrones set, was the most she had ever learnt. She said that there are certain things that you can only learn from a situation like that which would be impossible to learn in school. Read what she said regarding this below:

“There were things I learnt on ‘Game of Thrones’ that you could never learn in a classroom. It’s the responsibility and the discipline of it — if you have a bad day on set it’s there for ever.”

Finishing her interview, she even teased us about the show’s ending. About the final ever episode of ‘Game Of Thrones’ she said it “is gonna surprise people, but it’s just different to what you think it’s gonna be.” Do you have a theory of how you thing the show is going to end? Why don’t you tell us?
