Doctor Strange 2: Benedict Cumberbatch Quiet On Sequel News

Benedict Cumberbatch has been quiet regarding news about a sequel to the hit 2016 Marvel movie.

British actor Benedict Cumberbatch is set to reprise his beloved role as Doctor Strange in Infinity War, but insists that he’s unsure if he will ever get another solo outing as Doctor Strange again.


When he spoke to EW he confirmed that he has no idea about the exciting prospect of a Doctor Strange 2, this makes us wonder if there will be another.  Cumberbatch said, “Not at the moment, no. The masterplan is continually in flux, so it would be out of order for me to speculate.”

Doctor Strange released in October 2016 and was a Box Office hit, surpassing $650 Million worldwide. Due to the fantastic reviews the movie got, it should be looking at a sequel, but at the moment it seems its not happening anytime soon.
