When Hall recently spoke with Variety in an interview promoting his role his new TV series Safe, where he portrays Tom, Hall turned to the future of the Dexter franchise, revealing he’d be open to reviving the show in the future.
“Maybe. It’s a possibility given how the show ended that we could revisit Dexter.” Hall said. “I have just yet to, for my part, imagine or hear someone else’s idea that makes it feel worth doing. But never say never.”
With Hall currently working on Netflix’s anticipated adaptation of Harlan Coben’s book Safe as well as having other projects to come right after, it may be a while before we see Dexter return to our screens. Safe airs 2018 – After his daughter goes missing, a widower begins uncovering the dark secrets of the people closest to him.
